Peter Buffet
"Imaginary Kingdom."
Peter Buffett CD Review.

Peter Buffett is an Emmy-Award winning boomer musician with a long history in the entertainment industry, P eter’s career spans 28 years, beginning in advertising writing jingles in the 80s, moving onto composition for film, television, and theater in the 90s, and most recently writing unique and beautiful music of his own.
Peter is responsible for creating the climactic crescendos that brought some of the 90’s most memorable movie moments to their emotional highs, most notably the “Fire Dance” scene in 1990’s Oscar winning film Dances With Wolves. Now with the release of his third vocal album (and 15th overall), Imaginary Kingdom, Peter has defined himself as not only a genuine recording artist but also a reputable singer-songwriter.
While drawing influence from the artists that created the soundtrack to his youth , acts like Simon & Garfunkel, the Byrds and the Beatles, the album manages to echo the sound of some of today’s greatest rock acts, harnessing the unique pop sensibilities of Beck, the weightless harmonies of Elliott Smith, and the dreamy pop/rock tromp of Death Cab For Cutie. The lyrics resonate his passion for social change and echo the message he shares as a noted philanthropist.
