We went to Peoria, Illinois to see Taber play with Peoria Chiefs - Professional Baseball team, class "A" affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and 2002 Midwest League Champions.

While we didn't travel with the team when we were in Peoria, Ill ; Taber had some time off so
we took a tour on our own and drove from Peoria to St. Louis to watch the Cardinal Major League team played.
We went through Springfield, Illinois
While we were in St. Louis, we walk
around town and we went up to the top of The Arch,
We watch the IMAX movie and visited the Louis and Clark
Museum in the basement of the Arch
We went to The St. Louis zoo
We went to Union Station for lunch and dinner
We went to the Delta Queen River boat to watch the gambling
Unfortunately the weather was windy and the boat didn't take off and
we didn''t get to ride on the river.
When we drove through southern part of Illinois, we drove through
many farms and open land. We saw lots of corn fields and soy beans
fields.
