I have travelled to and lived in many places. I have done a lot of things in my life, but that does not mean that I know everything. I am still enjoying life and I am still learning.

These travelling stories were collection of travel tips, jokes and anecdotes of funtime during my travel and our family's travelling time.

I created these pages many years ago. I have since retired from working in the hightech industry (20+ years) and moved from Northern California (26 years in Silicon Valley) to Southern California It is a Country Living in one of S. Cal Wine Country. Many of these pages are very old and I am in the process of updating them. I will be adding the missing pages soon as well. Our Tokyo trip in 1971 should be interesting especially the $10.00 cup of coffee at the Hotel Coffee Shop. LOL...

I have updated our European trips and I will add more info in there soon.

I have travelled all over the world when I was younger. It started when I went off to London in the 60s at the early age of 16. Although, since I came back from living overseas and since I have been living here in the U.S with my family; I have limited my travel to Asia and mostly around the U.S. In early years, our family travelled together on vacation. However, most of my travelling in the last few years were business-related trips.

We had lots of travelling stories collected in our memories for over 35+ years. One of our memorable family vacation trips was the airport security check when we were in Istanbul to change our plane. We missed the flight out of Teheran that April's Fool day morning... This was our starting flight of our 40 days around the world trip!!! It was the first day of Spring and they changed the schedule and the flight took off an hour earlier than the original Winter schedule time stated ON OUR TICKET !!! We got to the airport while our plane was taking off on the runway HAHAHAHAHA!

Instead of the original flight, we had to take another flight (Turkish Airline) to Istanbul, Turkey and then continue to Athen.

When we finally got to Istanbul airport, they made us get out of the airplane and go get all of of our suitcases. Then with all of our belongings, we had to go through one of the the airport checkout lines. At the checkout lines, they inspected all of our carry on luggages and suitcases and made us proceed to the waiting lounge.

Finally, before we got on the plane, we got on line to check in for another airplane. Afterwhich, we got on the flight on our way to Athen; but not before we had to pay $10.00 fee for each person for the airport taxes ...

Cher - San Jose, California, 2000 Tina Turner - Oakland, California, 2000 The Moody Blues - Escondido, California, 2001 When we lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, I attended so many concerts at the Paul Masson Mountain Winery Summer Concert Series in Saratoga. The beautiful winery has been having concerts there for more than 40 years. The winery is up in the mountain side and the view from this winery and vineyard is spectacular.
