Once a month we feature a story as part of our series 
about other Boomers whose lives have defined our generation. 
Some of our subjects are famous, others are known only to 
their family and friends. Some of them are rich, some, 
not as rich. They represented differences and common threads 
of unity of our world. They've known their ups and downs. 
They've gone through the midlife, they've changed, and 
they're survived.
