I Dream Of Elusive Butterfly,

I dream of my love,
Like water ebbs and flows,
Like the moon hanging low,
Like the plains crying for rain.
Like the sky while the sun is rising,

I feel like flower drying inside,
Dreaming of Elusive Butterfly,
To touch my beautiful petals,
Dreaming of hummingbird kisses,
To quench his thirst from my nectar.

As the sun comes up over the horizon,
But I dont want to wake you up,
Snuggle together and keep on dreaming.
Dreaming of me and you and Elusive Butterfly....

In my dream.....
The flowers are blooming,
The bees are busily buzzing,
Butterflies dancing amongst the flowers,
The hummingbirds swishing around,
Kissing the petals and drink from the nectars,

In my dream....
A butterfly flutters and stirs my emotions,
Are you the one, that I am looking for?
Or are you, just an elusion,
Of someone, that fuels my passion?

Just longing for this magical occasion.
As I yearned for an Elusive Butterly,
As I cry for an Elusive love,
Emotions ebb, high and low like river runs,
As I search for the real you, the real one,
All I knew that dream can be elusive.

As Cloudy sky crying over the moon.
And Monsoon rain falls over the plains,
The Northwind blows over the mountains,
This vast land remains green and lush,
Every living things to gain and touched, on this earth,

With morning sun blinds my sight,
And morning mists to quench my thirst,
A morning songbird chirping aloud,
Your morning kisses sooth and sweeten my soul,
For Elusive Butterfly, I'll keep dreaming on,
As I hold you in my arms,

In my dream..
My Elusive Butterfly.....
I love you ever more so.

Elusive Butterfly -Artist: Bob Lind -peak Billboard position # 5 in 1966 -Words and Music by Bob Lind You might wake up some mornin' To the sound of something moving past your window in the wind And if you're quick enough to rise You'll catch a fleeting glimpse of someone's fading shadow Out on the new horizon You may see the floating motion of a distant pair of wings And if the sleep has left your ears You might hear footsteps running through an open meadow Don't be concerned, it will not harm you It's only me pursuing somethin' I'm not sure of Across my dreams with nets of wonder I chase the bright elusive butterfly of love You might have heard my footsteps Echo softly in the distance through the canyons of your mind I might have even called your name As I ran searching after something to believe in You might have seen me runnin' Through the long-abandoned ruins of the dreams you left behind If you remember something there That glided past you followed close by heavy breathin' Don't be concerned, it will not harm you It's only me pursuing somethin' I'm not sure of Across my dreams with nets of wonder I chase the bright elusive butterfly of love Across my dreams with nets of wonder I chase the bright elusive butterfly of love
