      Gary P. Larkin

        1946 - 2016: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
He was awarded No. 1 Disc Jockey of the Year for the Pittsburgh Area in 1977, '78 and '79 by Billboard Magazine. He also received a gold record each from Columbia Records, Atlantic Records and RSO Records for his assistance in helping to achieve more than $1 million in record sales. Gary shared his love of music through several radio stations (WMBA, WNUF, WARO, WZUM and WCCS), holding dances, his internet radio show and House of Wax, or just adding that special touch to events. Gary will be missed very much, for he had such a huge heart and loved to make people laugh. Anyone who truly knew Gary knows that he has everyone in heaven on their feet, dancing and smiling. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/triblive-pittsburgh-tribune-review/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=181004418#sthash.pWQuwjN4.dpuf Gary Larkin's Obituary

Jieranai Maier: Deryl Dennis Danner Sr. With sadness, I just found out that Deryl a long time friend of Yahoo Boomers International (since 1998) passed away on May 20, 2011. He was a great friend and a good person!

We communicated on FB until Jan 2011 and I have not heard from him again. I kept posting BD wishes on his FB page. Finally, I decided to search on Google for him and shockingly I found this page and many more regarding his passing. RIP Deryl.

April 26 at 2:27pm · Temecula This is a sad day since I also found out yesterday about our Boomers International friend that passed away in 2011. Edward Quicksall was our good friend although he was not in our Boomersint Yahoo group. He was a good poet who contributed many of his poems on our site. Ed and I communicated through AOL email from 1999 through 2001. Somehow we did not write to each other as often after I moved from Northern Cal to Southern Cal in 2001.
    Rest In Peace Ed!
