I saw them at a full house at The Performing
Art Center in Escondido last night. They were
SUPERB! Pure musics by musical geniuses!!
There was none of the fancy stage decorations
or fan fare custumes etc.. just pure guitars
strumming and The MB band members who
sung their heart out!!!
The crowd were considerably the older
generation type, the baby boomers and/or
mid-lifers etc.. but they were very enthusiatic
crowds and were very enthused about the
show.
First half of the songs they sang were from
newer era's recordings from Strange Time
alubm etc.. and then they sang these songs...
The Other Side of Life, Forever Autumn,
Night Flight, The View From The Hill,
The Voices,English Sunset/Words You Say
/Strange Times, I Know You're Out There
Somewhere,The Story In Your Eyes,
Isn't Life Strange/The Other Side Of Life/Nothing Changes
I'm Just A Singer/Question
The second half were pure 60's - Nights In White Satin
/Legend Of a Mind, In Your Widest Dreams
Tuesday Afternoon.. All and all there were about 15
or more songs together.
They didn't sing their first famous solo
"Go Now" which was popular in London
from 64-65's. But then that was the first
song by the first original Moody Blues and
before Justin Hayward and John Lodge time.
I really am sorry the line was so long so I didn't
get the song list and the program but believe
me the show was more than worth it.....
I love them 30+ years ago and still....
Peace, Love and Light,
Jeri
Hi Jeri,
Glad to hear the concert was great! I'll be seeing
them in New Brunswick NJ. on 4/8 and 2 shows in
Easton. Pa. on 4/14, second row and can't wait.
I heard alot about Vegas. Did you? They did 18
songs in Vegas. Wish I would have went.
Maybe next time.
Peace, Alice
Hi Everyone,
Well, I have just seen the
first poster for May 2002's UK tour going up in
Plymouth. I have purchased my tickets for Plymouth, and just
finalised a seat at the Royal Albert Hall. I will be at the
concert on the 19th in the first few rows of the arena
F. A great seat don't you think? Although I would have
prefered to be on Justins side of the hall [to admire his
335 and other great guitars] its close -- and thats
what matters.
Can't wait. I will be going to
the fan gathering as well, so hope to meet alot of
you there. Would be great to hear from people which I
spoke to during the last Fan Gathering, so if your out
there please drop me an email!
This year I aim
to get my 335 thrust rod cover signed. All of my
photo's I took from the previous fan gathering were taken
off me at the RAH, so hopefully I will get some
photos of the gathering this year.
Sorry for not
being in contact recently with those I would should
have - I have been so, so bussy.
Speak
Soon
Take Care Until next time.... Keep Smiling!
Joe Benson, ARROW 93's Morning Man in Los
Angeles, CA. has a hour long nationally syndicated program

Then click on the
"Radio/Music/Racing Link" for a city
in your area that is broadcasting it. For our
friends across the ocean and for the cities or states
that don't carry the program, some radio stations will
stream the show. The list is fairly up to date and
accurate, but of course, always check with the actual
radio station to ensure they are still carrying the
program. Enjoy!!
