Remembering

In Remembrance Of 9/11/01

A date that will go down in history.
Why, why, why, is the mystery.
Why, over 2,000 people, had to die,
because of some psychopath's lie.

A day we will never forget,
nor the families they beget.
A day we stood still;
through our hearts, ran a chill.

We will remember forever,
even as we endeaver,
to make life better.
We will remember forever and ever!
