romance 

i look for the smile in her eyes
hoping to steal one more glance
she turns to avoid all the lies
that comes with a new found romance

her heart is still longing to find
another to share through the years
but love is not clearly defined
nor will it be, when clouded by tears

i know that her heart has grown cold
and weakness would only breed pain
the key to her trust won't be sold
and her hope was left out in the rain

i see her held close in my arms
you look knowing there is no chance
i see her embraced in my charms
and restoring her faith in romance

dream of you 

in the sand our bodies lie
we watch the prism ship drift by
i see two suns are in the sky
our own true love will never die
and i will dream of you

no bird is crying on the wing
we listen to the children sing
morose bells will ever ring
the pendulum will always swing
and i will dream of you

visions of a crystal room
I cast away the thought of doom
i never know enduring gloom
because our love is in full bloom
and i will dream of you

time has past and much is known
many hearts are still on loan
other loves have turned to stone
look at ours, it will have grown
and i will dream of you

cry alone 

he sits alone with a distant stare
what put his life In such despair
I realize it’s me in this lone affair
why do I cry when no one's there

a truth was mistaken for an innocent lie
an easy avoidance of an honest reply
first to confuse and then to deny
I was sitting alone and started to cry

the seed of pain had just been sewn
it’s the planting that I can’t condone
the weeds of emotions had overgrown
and left me again crying all alone

my heart’s in need of great repair
but until that time I must prepare
I knew that life would not be fair
but I would not cry if I did not care

pretty baby
 
smile pretty baby, when the night is long
‘cause the sun will be coming up soon
with the break of the light, a new day is born
and refreshes the bright child of june

smile pretty baby, when the new day arrives
your guardian angel won't let you feel pain
because nobody's ever caught a rainbow, baby
until they've been caught in the rain

smile pretty baby, when you bring in the sun
‘cause the ray of hope is now warm
so bask in the heat of your new found light
and let the others get caught in the storm

smile pretty baby, when the night-time returns
and admire the glow of the moon
it's there for young lovers, but tonight it's for you
let it shine on the bright child of june
