There are many activities to do along the
route from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

It all depends on how many days you want to spend on the trip and what time of the year.

Currently it is November now and it is getting closer to winter time. The PC Highway One route along the coast from Carmet through Big Sur is very questionable to drive through during winter time. It might start to rain and sometimes there are danger of rock falling and the road being close.
