I guess one question here is, are boomers really self absorbed or just stepping back and observing,waiting to see what screws up next so they can prove thier theory correct LOL, I guess that also depends on how active they where in the drug culture. But seriously, you are right.We have become some what philosophical. You are also right about the cast level bashing, but for some this is a quick fix to cover thier own insecurities, and God know as well as each one of us do, that we are insecure to a point. I admit myself that I too am somewhat self righteous. You have to be to have confidence. But as with anything else, you have to exercise moderation. To much of anything isn't good for you. And I'm sure you and I have a totally different views and out looks on life, but think of life as the wheel of a bike.. The tube is life,it goes around and around.Its all fixed to a center point,a something that makes it possible to rotate, maybe its the answer to the almighty big question, who knows.Its all brought together by the spokes,us people.The spokes are all coming in from different diretions,no two the same,they're all heading in the same direction,to the center of the hub where they all come together. if any of the spokes are altered in anyway,it makes the ride ruff.It does require a balance and an equal pressure to keep the ride smooth ... LOL ..I've always loved Dr.Sues'story about the "Sneechs with stars' It kind of fits a generality about life don't you think? And you are sooo right about the choices. The best choice is the one YOU like best,not because everyone else likes it,but don't be afraid to try one thats different. Ohhh,and don't get me started on arrogant,I can be one of the most arrogant,stuborn,hard headed S.O.B.s around,but its not meant to be bitter,hateful ,spiteful,jealous or demeaning sounding. That idea comes from a misunderstanding in our perceptions of what life is. I'm a better person because of my flaws.I accept my status in life. If others don't like me for who I am or don't agree with my ideas,thats ok,they don't have to associate with me,but they shouldn't be maliscious toward me or anyone because of an indifference,that only goes to show a shallow mind. You already know that there's two sides to everything,rarely does anyone consider that there is a thin edge between the two as well ..by the way,LOL..did I mention I was a Gemini and subject to multiple personalities ... reading back over this post,it scares even me,but thats my thoughts,scattered as they may be....
